KML vs KMZ: What's the Difference? · الفرق بين KML و KMZ
KML (Keyhole Markup Language) is an XML-based format for marking up geographic data. KMZ is just a compressed (ZIP) version of KML with associated images and styles.

Creating KML/KMZ in Google Earth · إنشاء KML/KMZ في Google Earth
- Draw placemarks, paths, or polygons in Google Earth
- ارسم علامات موقع أو مسارات أو مضلعات في Google Earth
- Right-click the folder → "Save place as..." → Choose KML or KMZ

All KML/KMZ files use WGS84 (EPSG:4326) geographic coordinates — this is mandated by the KML standard. When you convert KML to DXF or CSV, the output will be in WGS84 unless you specify a target CRS.

Troubleshooting · استكشاف الأخطاء
KML loads but displays as single feature at 0,0
The KML file may be corrupted or have invalid XML. Try opening it in Google Earth first. If it works in Google Earth but not in GeoCAD Bridge, contact support with the file.

Styles and colors lost in conversion
KML styling (colors, icons, line widths) are Google Earth-specific and cannot be directly converted. GeoJSON and Shapefile support basic color properties; use a web mapping library for full styling control.
